We're based at the top of the A483 in Oswestry, so Newtown is a forty-five minute run south. If you've got old laptops, desktops, servers or phones sitting in a stockroom, we'll come to you, wipe the drives properly, and pay you for what's worth something.
Newtown is where the old textile-mill heritage of mid-Wales meets a mix of modern light manufacturing and office work. The Mochdre and Vastre business parks have a real spread — engineering, food production, distribution, plus the office services that orbit them. Robert Owen's hometown takes a longer trip from Oswestry but it's a known stop.
We collect across the town and surrounds:
If you're in or around Newtown, we'll be there. Outside that, just say where, we'll work it out.
Mochdre and Vastre are dense with light manufacturing, engineering and distribution — places that run CAD workstations, decent monitors, and decommission a fair amount of office kit alongside the shop floor. The town centre adds professional services on top.
Most jobs here are batches of 5 to 20 devices: a mix of laptops, desktops, the odd CAD workstation. Newtown's a longer run from us so we'll usually combine it with another stop along the A483 corridor.
National refurb companies want you to package the kit, label it, book a courier and wait. That's a half-day's work for whoever ends up with the job. We just turn up.
From Oswestry to Newtown is forty-five minutes south on the A483. Travel is on us. The price you're quoted is the price you're paid.
Every drive that leaves with us is sanitised to NIST 800-88, the open standard for media sanitisation. You get a certificate per device. If the data shouldn't leave your premises, we can wipe on-site so nothing's removed until it's clean. More on data security.
The form's the easiest way. Bullet points are fine, photos are even better. We'll come back inside a working day with an estimate, in writing. If it's a fit, we book a slot. If not, no chase.
Even rough — we'll come back with a ballpark and a slot that fits.
